By the end of 2013, four of ZhenHua Oil’s projects had passed appraisal by CNIGC for scienctific and technological achievements for civilian goods, namely: Research on a 7 Million Ton Capacity Crude Oil Construction in Iraq’s Al-Ahdab Oilfield Exploration Potential Research and Objective Evaluation of Kazakhstan’s Konys & Bektas Oilfield, Research on Comprehensive and Matching Technology for Capacity Construction of Kazakhstan’s Konys & Bektas Oilfield, The verification committee agreed that the research findings from all four projects had reached a leading international level. In addition, the technology for seismic interpretation and modeling of collapsed karst caves and the work on techniques for the identification, description and evaluation of auto fracture were also mentioned as having reached a leading international level.
Of the above studies, Research on a 7 Million Ton Capacity Crude Oil Construction in Iraq’s Al-Ahdab Oilfield, Potential Exploration Research and Objective Evaluation of Kazakhstan’s Konys & Bektas Oilfield, and Research on Comprehensive and Matching Technology for Capacity Construction of Kazakhstan’s Konys & Bektas Oilfield were granted first, second and third prize by CNIGC respectively.
To date, ZhenHua Oil’s scientific researchers have published more than fifty academic papers, among which twenty-six are lead author papers, five can be found by searching EI or SCI and twenty-seven have been published by core journals.
